Sleep Aider Community Scholarship $1500
Our commitment to education
Sleep Aider is a community forum for all those who suffer from sleep apnea and other sleep related problems. We have one goal – to help people sleep better and raise the quality of their lives.
In order to raise awareness of sleep apnea and help the community get a better night rest and live better lives, we’re organizing the yearly scholarship competition for college students. Each year, the students write and submit essays on the topic we believe is important and the winner will be awarded with $1,500.
For this year’s topic, we chose “What happens when you don't get enough sleep”. The students should submit their 750-word essays to firstname.lastname@example.org by February 15, 2018. We will announce the winner on February 18, contact them and arrange the prize delivery.
Write about the importance of sleep and the disadvantages of sleep deprivation. Use academic sources to explain why proper sleep is so important for adults and what people can do to increase its quality.
Submit your essay to our email along with personal information – full name, name of your university, contact phone, email address, and home address. The essay should be in PDF, Word doc, or Google doc. Include “Sleep Importance Scholarship” in the subject. We are also looking for some proof that you’re currently a college student. When you send us an essay, you agree that we can publish it on our website. The personal info you send us will never be sold/shared/rented to a third party. Good luck!
